Reflexology is based on ancient philosophy that areas on our feet, hands, face and ears are reflexes to organs and systems over the whole body.
Working these reflexes with various techniques (non ticklish) sends messages to the corresponding areas to move or clear any stagnancy which allows the body to re-balance and heal itself.
This is a totally relaxing and rebalancing experience for body and mind which also leaves your feet feeling soft and moisturised.
Reflexology on the feet is done laying down.
Hand Reflexology is a seated treatment and a perfect alternative for anyone with a foot injury, infection or if you just don’t like your feet touching.

Wall paintings on tombs dating as far back to 2330BC have been found showing people receiving treatments on their feet.
Dr William Fitzgerald (1872-1842) is credited with sharing that tribes from North America applied pressures to the feet to promote healing.
Physio-therapist Eunice Ingham (1889 – 1974) worked closely with Dr Fitzgerald to create a map of the body reflexes on the feet after associating where patients claimed their pain was eased when pressure was applied to that particular area of the foot.
Initially called ‘Zone Therapy’ , Reflexology is now a recognised healing modality by the NHS, many GPs and hospices.
